After three years of attending births, what I know for sure is that real preparation isn’t in the books or the packing lists. It’s in your nervous system. It’s in your body’s relationship to trust, sensation, and surrender.
I became a doula because I was in awe for the body, for the mystery of creation, and for the way birth transforms us forever. I trained extensively in full-spectrum birth work (in over a year and a half of programs) and I continue to bring a curious lens to my work.
I specialize in creating a gentle birth environment — even (and I should say especially) in a hospital setting. I truly believe birth is a transformational experience anywhere it happens. In my eyes, you cannot strip the magic from it.
My approach is relational – I don’t believe in one right way to prepare for birth. Instead, I meet you where you are in life, in your body, and in your needs. Together, we build the kind of support that helps you feel steady, confident, and ready for what’s ahead. My goal is to help you prepare for birth in a way that’s grounded, flexible, and real – whether we’re working 1:1, gathering in circle, or walking into the birth room together.
When I’m not on call, you’ll find me making nourishing food, walking my dog Rudy, or crafting something with my hands. I’m here for the mystery, the mess, and the magic.
If you're looking for a birth worker who goes deeper than the surface — welcome. I am so happy you are here. I cannot wait to see what magic lies ahead.
I’m Jennah and I believe in preparing for birth from the inside out.
